Today was a wonderful day (other than the fact that I was at work for 12 hours) because I bought a bike. It is called "The Typhoon" and says "blow away the fear" on it...sounds serious huh? I am so excited to have a bike, I have been missing mine a lot lately. Rachel and I found an outdoor climbing wall that we can bike to in 4 miles via the bike paths by our apartment as opposed to a 45 minute subway ride. Pictured above are all my latest purchases after my last paycheck...yes that is a tennis raquet. I am playing tomorrow after not really having picked up a raquet since highschool...should be interesting. Also me smashing the cake rachel got as a gift on my friend Mark.
In other news, Rachel, Mark and I decided to try and do a 1 week detox and cleanse to flush the old system. This consisted of eating only certain foods, no coffee, no alcohol ect. Basically it made us all feel like crap so we deemed it a bad idea on day 3, abandoned the plan and celebrated with a huge homecooked meal and a few bottles of wine, it was fantastic. I think I may really be a coffee addict...but what are you gonno do?
